Was there during the dot
com boom, producing websites for 2 South Florida internet companies.
During this time, insights into what businesses actually wants
their website to be and even more importantly how they want that website
to work for them has grown exponentially.
Over the years, I have seen
what works and what doesn't work. This has been a growth experience that has
not only benefited the businesses that are helped in producing
and managing their internet presence today but also
helped me and my understanding of what people may truly want in a
website vs how they are explaining their "concept".
Many times, it was like being lost in the woods with no
real path. Needless to say, that's a frustrating
experience.
A small business today wants
a savvy
website with informative text, intelligent graphics and
most important, a message that not only holds your current and future customers interests but promotes the
growth of the business. They want their website to be
"aesthetically pleasing" to the eye and that is my goal. When you really think about it, the internet is
a very valuable tool to get the word out anyone who will listen. It's your
audience, it is your
24-hour soap box.
